The leading European leagues and the players’ organization Fifpro complained to the European Commission earlier this month about what they see as a “abuse of dominance” by the body that oversees international football over the schedule of matches.
Wenger, the organization’s head of global football development, is leading a taskforce that includes representatives from the players’ union, confederations, the European Club Association, and the World Leagues Association.
