Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the former chief minister of Punjab, is involved in the money laundering case.
Elahi was directed by Judge Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh to show up for the upcoming hearing on November 5. His son, Moonis Elahi, a former federal minister, and other colleagues are also implicated in the case.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has confirmed that Interpol is reviewing the red notice that the court previously sent to Interpol regarding the arrest of Moonis Elahi, who is currently overseas.
A non-bailable arrest warrant has also been issued for co-accused Zaigham Abbas.
Moonis Elahi was one of the nine defendants for whom the FIA sought an extension of the asset seizure period.
