To draw attention to the risks posed by global environmental phenomena that affect Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is attending COP29, the United Nations’ 29th climate conference, in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Tuesday.
In addition to meeting one-on-one with world leaders, the premier will speak at COP29 tomorrow (November 13) and attend a number of important activities on the summit’s fringes. Several world leaders will attend the Climate Finance Roundtable Conference, which he will also host.
The difficulties experienced by developing nations, including Pakistan, which emit the fewest damaging and polluting gases but are most negatively impacted by the effects of climate change, will be the main topic of PM Shehbaz’s speeches to the event’s numerous forums.
