Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), another name for Doctors Without Borders, accused authorities of stopping its vehicles on multiple occasions and frightening its employees with rape and murder threats.
On November 11, MSF reported a fatal event in which three injured patients were being transported to an MSF hospital in Port-au-Prince when one of its ambulances was allegedly ambushed by police and vigilantes. Last Thursday, the group told the media that at least two patients had died.
