On Friday, a bombing near a police car on Quetta’s Western Bypass injured a police officer.
In the Burori region, the explosion happened close to a police patrol car.
After the explosion, rescue personnel arrived on the scene right after. One cop was injured when a hand grenade was thrown at the car, according to police officials, and was taken to a hospital for medical attention.
The police car was slightly damaged. Investigations are already underway at the scene by security personnel and a bomb disposal squad. We do not yet know the full extent of the officer’s injuries. As the inquiry progresses, more information is anticipated.
