A woman returning from Saudi Arabia was caught in a major FIA immigration operation at Karachi Airport for reportedly begging while posing as an Umrah pilgrim.
The accused acknowledged participating in begging in Saudi Arabia while being questioned. She further disclosed that the same network that operates in the area includes her husband and other family members.
The woman who was caught has been turned over to Karachi’s Anti-Smuggling Circle for additional examination. Authorities are working harder to stop these unlawful practices that damage the reputation of lawful pilgrims.
