Due to PTI protests and the government’s following road restrictions intended to quell the protesters, five flights to Islamabad have been canceled.
Flight schedules indicate that PIA flights PK326 and PK310 (from Karachi and Quetta to Islamabad, respectively) as well as PIA flight PK369 (from Karachi to Islamabad) have been canceled.
Furthermore, the Dubai-Islamabad-Oman special flights RJ71 and RJ72 have also been canceled.
Additionally, 28 additional planes run by different airlines have experienced operational delays, most likely as a result of the continuous road closures and protests.
