China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) Vice Chairman General Zhang Youxia has praised the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and determination in its continuous counterterrorism operations.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he made the remarks while meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the ISPR, the top Chinese military official visited the GHQ with a high-level delegation and reaffirmed China’s commitment to deepening this long-standing partnership.
COAS Munir and CMC Vice Chairman Youxia first met individually, and then they had talks at the delegation level.
The discussions centered on issues of shared interest, the dynamics of regional security, strategies for regional stability, and strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.
