ISLAMABAD: In his office, Kyle Gardner, Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead for South Asia, met with Fahd Haroon, Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media, to talk about current and upcoming initiatives to support Pakistan’s digital economy and tackle important issues pertaining to cybersecurity and online safety.
Gardner described Google’s ongoing investment in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem during the meeting, highlighting the company’s dedication to promoting innovation, security, and economic progress.
In order to address urgent challenges like online safety, digital literacy, and the preservation of cultural values in the quickly changing digital landscape, he also emphasized the significance of cooperation between the public and private sectors.
