Haris Rauf of Pakistan has been named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2024 in recognition of his pivotal contribution to the Green Shirts’ triumph over Australia.
During the visit of Australia, the Pakistani bowler was at the top of his game, taking 10 wickets in three ODIs to lead his country to their first ODI series victory in 22 years.
With an overall total of 18 wickets at the end of November, Rauf defeated South Africa’s Marco Jansen and India’s Jasprit Bumrah to win the monthly prize.
The 31-year-old’s effort against Australia in the second ODI was particularly noteworthy. Despite Pakistan’s 1-0 deficit in the three-match series, Rauf’s explosive pace bowling performance in Adelaide saw him collect statistics of 5/29.
