ISLAMABAD: During a high-level diplomatic meeting on Wednesday, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) discussed the crucial topic of issuing visas to Pakistani people.
The UAE promised Pakistan that it will work to speed up the visa application process for Pakistani candidates. The News said.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi at the Foreign Office (FO) to discuss the issue.
According to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) release, discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation were also part of the meeting.
Ambassador Al Zaabi and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister also spoke about Pakistani nationals’ visa requirements.
