ISLAMABAD According to sources on Thursday, Asad Qaiser, the senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Ayaz Sadiq, the speaker of the National Assembly, have decided to reduce political tensions.
According to the sources, this came after Qaiser met with Sadiq, a prominent figure in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), as the PTI, which was formed by Imran Khan, continues to stir up trouble.
According to the reliable sources, the two leaders also talked about how crucial it is to lessen polarization and identify points of agreement for the benefit of the entire country.
According to the insiders, the goal of the conference was to promote communication and understanding between the government and the former ruling party.
Sadiq recommended that in order to improve the situation, both sides should try to convince their respective hardliners to take a more moderate stand.
