In the next film, Austin Butler will play American Psycho.
Variety reports that Butler will portray the character that Christian Bale made famous.
It’s important to note that the movie won’t be a remake of Bale’s role in American Psycho from 2000.
It will, however, be an adaptation of the contentious 1991 book by Bret Easton Ellis.
As he takes on a part that has already become a landmark in movie history, the Dune: Part Two actor’s casting has generated enthusiasm. However, with Luca Guadagnino contributing his distinct vision to the project, the upcoming adaptation will examine the subject in a different way.
