ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly was presented with the 10-month data on occurrences related to terrorism, which showed a spike in terrorist strikes that killed at least 924 people during that time, including civilians and law enforcement officers.
In the first 10 months of the current year, there were 1,566 recorded terrorist occurrences, and 341 terrorists were killed as a result of counterterrorism efforts.
The Ministry of Interior revealed this statistic when it submitted information to the lower house of parliament regarding the number of people killed and injured in terrorist acts.
According to the data that was supplied, terrorist incidents that took place between January and October injured at least 2,121 individuals.
573 law enforcement agency (LEA) personnel were among the total number of casualties.
