Pakistan and Turkiye agreed on Saturday to broadcast well-known Turkish dramas, such as Ertugrul Gazi, in the South Asian nation, which is good news for the entertainment sector.
The development occurred during a meeting in Istanbul between Fahrettin Altun, the head of communications for the Turkish Presidency, and Attaullah Tarar, the minister of information.
Important topics covered in the meeting were eradicating Islamophobia, fostering public diplomacy, and enhancing collaboration in the media industry.
They also prepared cooperative productions, exchanged media delegations, and talked on how to combat misinformation and disinformation. Additionally, PTV and Turkish state TV TRT agreed to jointly air Turkish dramas like Ertugrul Ghazi in Pakistan.
