LAHORE: A new announcement on the province’s winter break for schools has been released by the Punjab Education Department.
The revised announcement states that the winter vacation will now start on December 23 rather than December 20 as was originally planned.
Reopening day for schools is January 13, 2025. This modification follows the department’s earlier announcement of a December 20–January 10 break.
From December 21 to December 31, Sindh’s educational establishments will observe winter holidays, with both public and private schools closed throughout this time.
However, when the province’s cold weather grew more severe, schools in Balochistan began their winter breaks on December 16.
