Pakistan’s gold prices fell Friday, following the global decline. The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,000 in a single day to Rs271,300 in the local market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,715 to Rs232,596.
This decrease comes after gold prices per tola fell by Rs 2,600 on Thursday.
With the cost recorded at $2,601 per ounce (with a premium of $20), down $20 from the day before, gold also witnessed a decline on the global market on Friday.
Silver prices, on the other hand, stayed constant at Rs 3,350 per tola.
