Due to the lack of medical services brought on by road blockades that have lasted for two and a half months, more than 100 children have sadly died in Parachinar.
Protests have been triggered by the ongoing crisis as people call for immediate action to unblock access routes. For the sixth day, they are demonstrating against the road blockade.
News claims that locals have been denied access to basic food and medical supplies because of the roadblock, which has been in place for more than two months.
Upper Kurram Tehsil Chairman Agha Muzamil stated: “Road closures prevent residents from accessing necessities like food and medical treatment. The lack of medical attention has resulted in the deaths of more than 100 youngsters.
