With the announcement of his relationship with actress Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman’s humorous diet-related message from earlier is making a reappearance online.
The Australian actor posted a picture of himself looking at a platter of cookies on X (previously Twitter) back in 2015 with the message, “To cheat or not to cheat – that is the question?!”
Due to rumors that Jackman and his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, just split up, social media users have gone back and read the post.
Others pointed to the post’s inadvertent irony, saying it had “aged poorly,” while others humorously connected it to purported “affair” rumors.
The publication claims that the resurgence coincided with Jackman’s public appearance alongside Sutton Foster.
