Sarfaraz Ahmed, a former captain of Pakistan, was announced on Wednesday as one of the four event ambassadors for the 2025 ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, which will take place from February 19 to March 9.
India’s Shikhar Dhawan, Australia’s Shane Watson, and New Zealand’s Tim Southee join the wicketkeeper batter, who helped Pakistan win their first title with a resounding 180-run triumph over bitter rivals India in the 2017 edition’s thrilling final.
Sarfaraz Ahmed expressed his joy at being recognized and stated he will “never forget” taking home the coveted trophy and donning the white coats.
