Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, challenged India on Thursday to provide proof to the international world that Pakistan was responsible for the Pahalgam incident.
Speaking at a press conference with Khawaja Asif, the minister of defense, and other ministers, Dar said that Pakistan had intelligence and proof that certain foreigners had brought weapons to Srinagar.
“These individuals have been detained in Srinagar by Indian intelligence agencies,” he continued.
The foreign minister claimed that foreigners who “are trying to export IEDs (improvised explosive devices)” were being assisted by Indian espionage services.
The prime minister also stated that Pakistan’s military was prepared to fight any Indian aggression.
