As investigations into the 26 people killed last week continue, authorities in Indian-administered Kashmir have destroyed the homes of at least ten suspected terrorists and arrested more individuals for interrogation.
Since the attack on visitors last Tuesday, Indian security forces have destroyed the properties using explosives. According to reports, at least one was connected to a suspect mentioned in the shootings.
India has not named the organization it blames, but it accuses Pakistan of aiding the militants responsible for the killings. Islamabad denies the claims.
In the disputed zone, it was the bloodiest attack on civilians in twenty years. The area is claimed by both India and Pakistan, who have fought two wars over it.
