As tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbors continue to rise in the wake of the attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Pakistani army shot down at least 29 Israeli-made Harop drones after India launched a series of provocative attacks.
In a statement released Thursday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, “Pakistan Armed forces have so far shot down 25 Harop drones using both soft-kill (technical) and hard-kill (weapons-based) systems.”
Later in the day, DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that three individuals had been slain in the most recent strikes, and that at least 29 Indian drones had been shot down thus far.
