There is “uncertainty” over the health of three of the twenty-four hostages that were previously thought to be alive in Hamas captivity in Gaza, according to Israel’s prime minister.
Although the whereabouts of “three more” captives were unknown, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed to know “with certainty” that 21 of them were still alive.
His remarks followed US President Donald Trump’s statement that, although there were 24 captives alive a week ago, there were now 21. Speaking at a White House event on Tuesday, he made the remarks without mentioning a source or offering more information.
