KARACH: Talks are still going on regarding player availability and venue, but the remaining Pakistan Super League 10 games are tentatively set for May 17–25.
To alleviate logistical issues, franchises have suggested that all remaining games be played at one location, either Lahore or Rawalpindi. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suggested that the final be held in Lahore and that the match be restarted in Rawalpindi.
Teams are now verifying their international players’ participation. Franchises and the PSL management are preparing backup plans in case the entire roster isn’t reached, even if some players have agreed to return.
A new draft or a relaxation of the league’s requirement that international players play in the remaining games are two possibilities.
