Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress, posted an emotional message on Instagram after Virat Kohli announced his retirement from the Test format on Monday.
“They’ll talk about the records and the milestones — but I’ll remember the tears you never showed, the battles no one saw, and the unwavering love you gave this format of the game,” the Bollywood actress wrote, referring to Virat’s unseen emotions and private struggles.
She went on to say that he had changed with each Test series, becoming a little more modest and wiser. She said that she has had the honor of witnessing his development.
Sharma went on to say that she had pictured his retirement from international Test cricket.
