ISLAMABAD: On May 5, India launched its first attack, cutting off water from two of its main dams that supplied rivers to Pakistan.
In an attempt to flood Pakistan’s rivers, India reopened the dam gates on May 6 after more than a day, as the water pressure rose. In the late hours of the same day, India announced a “so-called” large-scale air drill on its southern border with Pakistan in an attempt to further deflect Pakistan’s defense focus.
“On May 7, the workout will start at 3:30 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m. In order to maintain safety and operational integrity, airspace in the area will be limited on May 8. It is important to note that Operation Sindoor in India was conducted from 1:05 to 1:30 in the morning (IST).
