Dr. Christine Fair, a US defense specialist, has called India’s claims of downing Pakistani aircraft “nonsense” and denied them.
Fair, a political scientist with expertise in South Asia, security, and counterterrorism, has been a vocal opponent of Pakistan, which some social media users contend makes her rejection of India’s assertions all the more noteworthy.
She said these things when she appeared on “The Interview with Karan Thapar,” an Indian journalist’s show on The Wire.
Regarding Indian Air Force Director General of Air Operations Air Marshal Bharti’s assertion that the Indian Air Force had shot down an unspecified number of Pakistani aircraft, Thapar had questioned Fair.
