Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, began a three-day official visit to Beijing on Monday with the goal of strengthening Pakistan-China strategic and economic cooperation.
Wang Yi, the foreign minister of China, invited the visit to take place. Dar will engage in extensive discussions on bilateral, regional, and international matters of shared interest with Chinese leadership while he is there.
The two sides will talk about how South Asia is changing, with an emphasis on preserving peace and advancing regional stability, the Foreign Office said.
