As tensions between the two countries increased, Indian travel blogger Jyoti Malhotra was detained on suspicion of espionage for Pakistan.
Indian police have detained Malhotra, a popular YouTuber from the Hisar area of Haryana, on suspicion of engaging in espionage while in Pakistan.
Her purported interactions with a Pakistani official and her prior trip to Pahalgam, which took place three months before the most recent attack in the area, are among the charges.
Indian authorities have apparently taken notice of her visit to Lahore, which included filming her video blog in the busy Anarkali Bazaar. This is especially true given the increased tensions that have followed the Pahalgam tragedy.
