ISLAMABAD: The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court authorized live streaming of the reserved seats case on Thursday, instructing its IT department to make the required preparations.
In addition to dismissing a number of related arguments, such as those challenging the bench’s makeup and the request to hear the 26th Constitutional Amendment case before the case involving reserved seats, the court issued a brief ruling on a number of petitions submitted by the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
The motion to postpone the hearing on reserved seats until after the 26th Amendment petitions were decided was likewise denied by the Supreme Court.
The judge postponed the hearing until Monday and made it plain that it will go forward as planned.
