Three of the most wanted terrorists from the outlawed group “Fitna-tul-Khawarij” from Mehran Town, Korangi, were taken into custody by Sindh Rangers and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in a significant counterterrorism operation. In addition, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the raid, which was conducted in response to intelligence inputs.
A Rangers spokeswoman said Thursday that the three suspects who were taken into custody were Sabirullah alias Daniyal, Muhammad Noor alias Mani, and Naimatullah alias Abid.
According to preliminary investigations, the accused had ties to Islamuddin and Roman Raees, commanders of Fitna al-Khawarij. According to reports, all three suspects have military training and were dispatched to Karachi by their handlers to commit terrorist acts, targeted killings, and extortion, especially against security officers.
