Washington: Melania Trump, the first lady of the United States, has released a new audiobook, but it doesn’t feature her actual voice.
Rather, the US First Lady created a voiceover that delivers the story using artificial intelligence.
Melania made the announcement about the $25 seven-hour book on social media. It was narrated entirely by AI to sound like her, and she referred to it as “my story, my perspective, the truth.”
Her earlier caution about the perils of deepfakes—which employ artificial intelligence (AI) to produce phony audio or video—is reiterated in the audiobook.
