SKARDU: Rescue officials verified on Saturday that the bodies of four tourists who vanished while driving from Gilgit to Skardu had been found in a steep ravine close to Istak hamlet in Skardu’s Roundu valley.
Rescuer Ghulam Rasool reported that the unfortunate car fell into a ravine on the Baltistan Highway. While work is being done to recover the other two bodies, two have already been recovered.
According to police, the tourists who vanished on the evening of May 15 were on their way from Gilgit to Skardu when their car lost control and plunged into a gulf.
