Saad Munawar, a well-known climber from Pakistan, added another feather to his cap on Saturday when he climbed the 8,848-meter Mount Everest.
Earlier this morning, Munawar raised Pakistan’s flag atop the highest mountain in the world. Under the guidance of Dawa Gyalje Sherpa, he accomplished the incredible achievement.
He had climbed Mount Aconcagua earlier.
With his successful ascent of Kangchenjunga on Sunday, mountaineer Sirbaz Khan completed the historic feat of becoming the first and only Pakistani to summit all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter summits without the use of supplementary oxygen, a feat he accomplished last week.
