Star batsman Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are not included in the 12-man team, but Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 champions Lahore Qalandars, has been selected captain of the Team of the Tournament.
According to a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the team was chosen by the distinguished members of the commentary team.
From April 11 to May 25, the competition took place in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by a margin of six wickets in the championship match.
The 25-year-old left-arm pacer finished as the best wicket-taker with 19 dismissals in 13 games, earning him the Fazal Mahmood Cap.
