For the second day in a row, the price of gold has been decreasing both in Pakistan and globally.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs3,600 on Tuesday to Rs347,900, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. In a same vein, 10 grams of gold now cost Rs298,268 after falling Rs3,086.
Significant shifts were also seen in the world gold market, as the price of an ounce of gold dropped $36 to $3,295.
Pakistan saw a decline in the price of silver as well; a tola of 24-karat silver cost Rs60 less to reach Rs3,448 and 10 kilos of silver cost Rs2,956.
