The KP Centre of Excellence strongly condemned the recent APS Khuzdar bus attack and, in an effort to foster social cohesion and national unification, partnered with the University of Swat to host a one-day seminar and a solidarity walk on Tuesday.
In order to emphasize the vital role that academic institutions play in fostering tolerance, peace, and national unity, the event brought together students, faculty, academics, and representatives of civil society.
The seminar’s speakers emphasized that educational institutions have a moral and national duty to combat extremist ideology through communication, awareness-raising, and positive involvement. In the face of polarizing narratives, they advocated for bolstering social cohesion.
