ISLAMABAD: On Monday night, Sana Yousaf, a 17-year-old TikToker, was shot and killed inside her home in Sector G-13/1 of Islamabad. This tragic event has once again sparked worries about the safety of social media influencers.
The murder, which happened within the Sumbal police station’s authority, has upset both rights activists and internet users.
However, a significant development occurred when the suspect, identified as Umar Hayat, better known by his nickname “Kaka,” was taken into custody by Islamabad Police in Faisalabad within 20 hours after the incident.
According to reports, Yousaf, who had more than 740,000 TikTok followers, was at home with her aunt when the incident happened.
