Following rumors that a suspect was taken into custody after breaking into Windsor Castle’s grounds, neither Kensington nor Buckingham Palaces have issued a formal statement.
Following an attempted break-in at their Windsor Castle residence, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been left feeling frightened, according to a story by the New Idea.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police provided additional information, as reported by The People.
According to the police statement, “A man in his 30s entered private grounds at Windsor Castle and was arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site and possessing Class A drugs.”
“On Sunday, June 1, just after 13:00 hours, officers on the property spotted the individual and promptly took him into custody. After then, Thames Valley Police took him into jail.
