A high-level diplomatic delegation has met with several US congressmen as part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach effort following the recent armed conflict with India. The group’s purpose is to convey Pakistan’s position and draw attention to New Delhi’s aggression and provocations against Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has held a number of important talks with US Congress members on Capitol Hill. Bhutto-Zardari is leading a high-level parliamentary delegation consisting of nine lawmakers from other countries.
