Emergency workers in Ukraine have been working to remove bodies from under rubble in Kyiv since Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack on the city overnight into Tuesday.
Officials reported that at least 28 people had been killed and over 100 injured, following many revisions to the death toll, both upward and downward, on Wednesday. Two people died in Odesa as well.
During the strikes, scores of apartments were destroyed when a drone crashed into an apartment complex.
Ukraine’s interior minister reported that 32 missiles and 440 drones had struck the city, making it one of the largest attacks since Russia’s full-scale conflict began.
