The “Clinic on Wheels” program, a major effort under Chief Minister Punjab’s healthcare reforms aimed at providing medical services to residents in Chichawatni at their doorsteps, was officially launched Monday at the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood.
Assistant Commissioner Nargis Khatoon Jaffary, former MNA Chudhary Tufail, Chief Executive Officer (Health) Dr. Abdul Majeed Niazi, and other high-ranking officials attended the inauguration ceremony.
Six ambulances designated for the initiative were formally turned over to the Health Department by the Deputy Commissioner as part of the launch.
To guarantee primary care reaches isolated and underprivileged communities, each mobile clinic will be manned by a doctor, dispenser, and vaccine provider and furnished with necessary medical services, such as pregnancy tests.
