US President Donald Trump has credited the recent American military strikes on Iranian nuclear installations with igniting larger Middle East negotiations, stating that “great progress” is being made toward a truce in Gaza.
A breakthrough in the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza could be close, Trump told reporters during a NATO conference in The Hague with Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to Trump, “I think great progress is being made on Gaza.” “I believe we’re going to have some very good news because of the attack that we made [on Iran].”
He added that the US intervention had improved America’s standing as a regional power broker and might have indirectly aided in the resumption of ceasefire negotiations. It was rather beneficial.
