Over the past few days, the 42-year-old artist has vented her fury on X (previously Twitter), suggesting that influential industry players have been interfering behind the scenes to impede her career. The connotation was obvious even if she did not specifically mention Jay-Z or his business.
Minaj added, “Barbz, that’s the REAL reason I’m not releasing music,” asserting that she hasn’t been able to release new songs because of persistent diversions and sabotage. Pink Friday 2, her most recent album, came out in 2023.
