Drew Barrymore is recalling an important tip from her co-star George Clooney regarding keeping eye contact when filming scenes.
With the actors of Masters of the Air as guests, the 48-year-old recalled the counsel given on The Drew Barrymore Show and added, “So, George Clooney. I cherished collaborating with him as an actor. He prevented me from taking actions that I don’t believe were beneficial to my acting career.”
The actress went on, “He would say, ‘You never look someone in the eye during a scene.'”
She recounted the advise, saying, “Well, because it’s so intimate,” she thought. While we’re at it, should we become romantic? Eye contact is absurd, really.”
Drew acknowledged the Batman star’s attempts to put things behind her, despite her unwillingness to look him in the eye.
“Making eye contact is incredibly important in life, but I kind of shy away from it because I almost feel like it’s a bit intrusive. However, George made it clear to me that I shouldn’t.”
The Oscar winner previously made an appearance in October 2022 on his fellow star show, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
“I know that George is someone who always wants the best for people too,” Drew said, showing her affection for him throughout the episode. I believe that he reacts, “No, no,” when he observes something inappropriate, careless, or even crazy. However, he is also the one pulling practical jokes and
