RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has referred to India as the largest state supporter of terrorism in the area and urged its neighbors to be on the lookout for Indian proxy networks.
Speaking to officers of the 52nd Common Training Program on Friday, COAS Munir emphasized that while Pakistan wants good relations with Afghanistan, a sister Islamic nation, it does not expect it to give space to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, India’s terror proxies.
He warned that Pakistan will never tolerate Indian hegemony and declared that India was the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the area. “We will never bow down to India, and we have never done so.”
The army chief claimed that because of India’s brutal and discriminating treatment of its minorities, terrorism is a domestic problem.
