ISLAMABAD The News reports that at the PTI Parliamentary Party meeting on Wednesday, a number of parliamentarians expressed worries over Aleema Khan’s purported meddling in party matters and emphasized the necessity of reestablishing contact with the “powerful quarters.”
Party insiders claim that some leaders also chastised Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for accepting the budget without first meeting the party’s founder. Limiting Aleema Khan’s influence over the party’s leadership choices was another demand.
Ali Muhammad Khan suggested limiting the usage of social media until the party founder Imran Khan’s release. Gandapur later challenged the state and institutions to overthrow his government politically in a press conference he gave after attending the parliamentary party meeting here.
