PESHAWAR: Several government departments were found to have been careless in the recent Swat tragedy, the chairman of the inspection committee looking into it told the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday.
Relevant representatives appeared before the court during the hearing to give updates on the current investigation into the tourists’ drowning in the Swat River.
The chairman informed the bench that the investigation had unequivocally shown departmental negligence. PHC Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan responded by directing that the names of all those involved be revealed immediately.
