General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa of Bahrain met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Manama to address issues of shared interest, with a particular emphasis on strengthening security cooperation.
Both parties evaluated bilateral efforts in counterterrorism, anti-human trafficking, and narcotics control, and agreed to expand collaboration in these areas, according to a statement issued by state-run news outlet Radio Pakistan.
The two leaders also talked on how to improve the joint security committee between Bahrain and Pakistan’s ability to handle regional and international security issues.
The Bahraini interior minister commended the present degree of coordination between the two nations and called Naqvi’s visit a great chance to strengthen security ties.
